Saturday, August 13 and the Bulls at the Custer County Fair Bull Riding event in Hermosa, SD were in top form. Jeff Svoboda, Custer County Fair board member explained that: “the bull riding event was  added to the county fair 3 years ago and has seen growth every year drawing larger crowds and experienced riders”. The bull ring is smaller than standard allowing better control of the bulls and front row seating for the spectators.

Heather Hunsacker event coordinator, “explained that there were 30 registered riders from 3 different states ranked in Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA), Professional Bull Riding (PBR) and Championship Bull Riding (CBR) competing for a share of $2500.00 in prize money”.

The stock contractors were. Ferguson Bucking Bulls Hermosa, Thad Botwell Bucking Bulls Rapid City, and Jack Coleman Bucking Bulls, Springfield, SD.
